Connect Within

Through mindfulness, movement, sound, breath, and other heart-centered practices, we help children cultivate the awareness needed to stay connected to themselves.

Follow Your Interests

Children help shape the direction of the program, weaving their interests and goals into the projects we explore together. The result is a responsive approach to learning that evolves with the community.

Belong & Contribute

Community isn't just the setting for learning, it is one of the things being learned. Through collaboration, shared responsibility, and restorative dialogue, children develop the real-world skills needed to thrive alongside others.

Age-Mixed

Life isn't separated by age, and neither is our community. Children learn, play, and collaborate across age groups developing compassionate leadership in older children and inspiring confidence and growth in younger ones.

Nature-Based

Our days unfold outdoors where children develop a natural appreciation for nature. Alongside practical skills, our Guides introduce connection practices that invite children to experience the more-than-human-world through the heart.

From Seed to Harvest

Children learn that ideas have the power to become reality by playing an integral part of each seasonal project, from inspiration to completion. Whether creating a science project or organizing a bake salechildren develop the skills

to bring their ideas to life.

Our Philosophy

Children are Born Whole

We believe children are born with innate wisdom, unique gifts, and a life path all their own. Our role as facilitators is to cultivate an environment where they remain connected to themselves, develop their natural callings, and learn how to live in relationship with others and the natural world around them. â€‹

Daily Flow

1:00 PM — Arrive & Attune

Children arrive and have space to reconnect, explore the environment, tend the animals and gardens, and help shape the flow of the afternoon before projects begin.

1:45 PM — Ground & Center

We transition with a grounding practice. Activities may include mindfulness, meditation, nature connection, sound baths, or other nervous system regulation tools that support well-being.

2:00 PM — Pod Projects

With support from Guides, children work within age-appropriate groups to explore ideas, develop skills, and bring projects to life.

3:30pm - Community Tending

Together we explore what needs tending. Children may finish projects, meet with Guides, resolve challenges through restorative dialogue, engage in Children's Council, finish chores, or even take a restful break.

4:15pm - Reflection Circle

We gather as a community to reflect on the day and intentionally close our time together.

4:30-5pm - Play and Release

We close with an inspiration-directed block of time for children to connect, play, and explore.

Seasonal Learning Journeys

We Co-Create Each Season Together

At the beginning of each season, children and Guides gather to envision the projects, skills, and adventures they would like to explore. To ensure development appropriate activities, the community breaks into learning pods based on their skills and interests. Below are some examples our Guides may offer:

Curious to learn more?
We'd love to meet your family, answer questions, and determine whether our community is a good fit.

This is more than an organization; it’s a living practice of community.
We are learning to live in right relationship with ourselves, with one another, and with the living Earth.  Whether you come to share a meal, teach a skill, tend the garden, or simply show up with presence and care, your participation is helping shape the world we long to see.
